The Balearic Islands and the Mediterranean coast offer you a vast range of options for sailing whenever and wherever you want.
MAJORCA
Discover the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range from the sea with its spectacular sunsets and its tiny villages set in the mountains, Estellencs, Banyalbufar, Port de Soller and Sa Calobra. In the distance you can see the 1,445 m high Puig Major. There is also the rugged Cape Formentor and quiet beach of the same name in the bay of Pollença, with its strong scent of salt and pine trees. You can drop anchor beside S'Albufera in Alcudia (Nature Reserve). At Porto Colom, swim in the numerous coves in the south-east that you can only reach by sea. Visit Cap Salinas, opposite the island of Cabrera and the intimate Des Trenc beaches, or the Bay of Palma, Andratx and sa Dragonera. See map
MENORCA Dock alongside another boat in Ciutadella, drop anchor in Cala Morell and visit the Posidonia prairies of Fornells. Addaia, the nature reserve of Es Grau, the Port de Maó, the southern coves: Covas, Macarella, Macarelleta, Monte Toro and the gem that is Ciutadella, all unique spots hidden away on this magnificent island. It has been a biosphere reserve since 1993, where you can find cormorants, petrels and grebes. See map
IBIZA Or perhaps you prefer the Pitiusan Islands... for a lively or peaceful time. Ses Salines and the majestic islets of Es Vedar, with their many coves. "Discover" the beach bars and restaurants, where you can savour the best local fish. In the North, you can join the hippies at Cala Binirras, where they play their drums as the sun is setting. BY... You can gaze at the unique view of Barcelona from the sea, with its skyline, Montjuic Castle, the Norman Foster Tower, Tibidabo and the steeples of Gaudí's Sagrada Familia and the Cathedral. To the South, you will find the beaches of Castelldefels and the Garraf mountains, plus the charming towns of Sitges and Vilanova.
